• What is the preferred way to refer to the project?

  The project is called GNU recutils. The programs distributed by the project are called recutils. Finally, the files containing records are called recfiles.

Contributing

• I am not a programmer. Can I contribute to the project?

  Yes! You can translate the recutils to your native language by visiting the translation project. You can also help by improving the documentation or simply by telling us your feedback as an user.

• Why is the logo depicting a pair of copulating turtles?

  They are called Fred and George. And yes, they are both male.
