CVS can keep a history file that tracks each use of the
checkout
, commit
, rtag
,
update
, and release
commands. You can
use history
to display this information in
various formats.
Logging must be enabled by creating the file $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/history.
history
uses ‘-f’, ‘-l’,
‘-n’, and ‘-p’ in ways that conflict with the
normal use inside CVS (see Common options).
