GNU Solfege

Wenn man Musik an einer Hochschule oder einem Konservatorium studiert, gehört Gehörbildung zur Ausbildung dazu. Einige der Aufgaben, wie vom Blatt singen, kann man gut alleine üben. Häufig jedoch muss man mindestens zu zweit sein, einer frägt, der andere antwortet.

Das ist in Ordnung, solange beide Zeit dafür haben. Wenn man dauernd im eigenen Kämmerlein am eigenen Intsturment sitzt und übt, mag es auch vorteilhaft sein, mal jemand anderen zu sehen :-) Meine Erfahrung wärhend meiner Ausbildung war jedoch, dass die meisten Musiker sehr beschäftigt sind und es sehr schwer war, regelmässig gemeinsam zu üben. Und um wirklich gute Resultate zu erzielen sollte man nun mal fast jeden Tag wenigstens ein bisschen üben. Not just a session before your next ear training lesson.

GNU Solfege versucht hier Abhilfe zu schaffen. Mit Solfege kann man nun die eher grundlegenden und mechanischen Übungen ohne die Hilfe anderer durchführen. Aber vergessen Sie nicht, dieses Programm streift nur einen Teil der Aufgabenstellungen.

Documentation

Documentation for Solfege will be available online, as is documentation for most GNU software. You may also find more information about Solfege by running man solfege, or by looking at /usr/share/doc/solfege/, /usr/local/doc/solfege/, or similar directories on your system. A list of command line options is available by running solfege --help.

Mailing lists

Solfege has the following mailing lists:

• solfege-devel is used to discuss most aspects of Solfege, including development and enhancement requests, support requests, as well as bug reports.
• solfege-announce is a moderated list used to announce new releases.

Announcements about Solfege and most other GNU software are made on info-gnu (archive).

Security reports that should not be made immediately public can be sent directly to the maintainer. If there is no response to an urgent issue, you can escalate to the general security mailing list for advice.

Getting involved

Development of Solfege, and GNU in general, is a volunteer effort, and you can contribute. For information, please read How to help GNU. If you'd like to get involved, it's a good idea to join the discussion mailing list (see above).

To translate Solfege's messages into other languages, please see the Translation Project page for Solfege. The user manual also has a Translation Project page. If you have a new translation of the message strings, or updates to the existing strings, please have the changes made in this repository. Only translations from this site will be incorporated into Solfege. For more information, see the Translation Project.
